Online roulette not to be included in possible online poker bill

There has been plenty of speculation that an online poker legalization bill is in final stages of getting passed through Congress. There has been much work on this legislation for some time, and gamblers should know what this means for them. There are plenty of online poker players who are quite happy about the progress that is being made in Congress, but there are many roulette players who are not going to be as thrilled about the actions.

The legislation will do nothing to allow for the legalization of roulette. As a matter of fact, it may make it more difficult for those who like to play games of chance to be able to continue to do so. It just seems that the legislators are not ready to legalize something that they feel is based entirely on chance.

The online roulette community will have to continue to play the game against the law in the United States if they wish to continue to play. Roulette is available at all casinos in areas where it is legal of course. It is just one of those things that some prefer to be able to play on the internet. No one can blame them for this one. The only thing is that they are going to have to consider if they want to continue to play in violation of the law.

Many experts in the field believe that games like roulette, online blackjack and other online casino games will be legalized at some point down the road. It is just a matter of when. Those experts often say that poker will be legalized first, then casino games, and finally sports betting. We will all wait and see how this one unfolds, but it is almost certain that online roulette is not yet near legalization.
